Pitch invasion during sports matches is quite common these days. While it is common during a cricket match, invasion has been a common site during football matches these days too.
One such incident took place during the ongoing FIFA World Cup group stage too. The match between Tunisia and France at the FIFA World Cup 2022 was halted after a fan invaded the pitch in the second half of the Group D match on Wednesday.
The fan was reportedly carrying a Palestine flag, which was also unfurled during the match by several fans at the stadium. This invader was later dragged down by the security officials when chants of Free Palestine emerged inside the Education City Stadium.

Talking about Tunisia’s FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign so far, the side although beat the disjointed French side 1-0 but Australia’s 1-0 win over Denmark saw the winners progress them to the next stage of the World Cup.
