Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana pulled off a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss Pakistan's Qasim Akram in the group stage match of the ACC Mens Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023. Bowling first, Team India put forth a stunning performance led by Rajvardhan Hangargekar's five-wicket haul and bundled out Pakistan at the score of 205 in 48 overs.

Coming back to Rana's catch, Hangargekar sent out a short and wide delivery at the well-set  Qasim Akram. After putting up 48 runs in 62 balls, Akram lost his composure and got a top edge. As the ball flew towards the short-third man,  Harshit Rana leapt up to take a stunning one-handed catch.

Then in the second innings, India cruised to a comfortable chase, thanks to an incredible century by Sai Sudharshan. Opening the innings, the Gujarat Titans star took an aggressive approach as he carried his bat and finished off the game with a a massive six. 

Reacting to this performance, Sudharshan said, "I focus on risk-free runs and reducing the dot balls. It was tricky to face spinners. It was turning a bit. We are taking it game by game and reacting to whatever comes in front of us. It has been fantastic to play with Abhishek Sharma. I have learnt a lot from him."
