Popular YouTuber Jake Paul is set to fight UFC star Nate Diaz in a 10-round boxing match that will be the longest bout of both their careers. Recently, Paul has shown his confidence ahead of his fight against Nate Diaz by smoking cigarettes while training in the gym. The YouTube star, who is set to face the former UFC fighter, posted a video on his social media handles of him hitting a speed bag with a lit cigarette in his mouth.

Paul's opponent Diaz is known for his cannabis use and advocacy as the fighter had joked about it talking to the media saying the only drug which will be present in his blood will be Marijuana when asked about the use of steroids. This post from Paul seems to be an attempt to mock the former UFC star and his habits.

In the video, Paul can be seen smoking a cigarette while simultaneously punching a hanging bag and captioned the post, "Getting my lungs ready for 10 rounds. #PaulDiaz."

Paul, who has a 6-1 record as a professional boxer, is coming off his first loss against Love Island star Tommy Fury in December 2022 and has been vocal in his trash talk against Diaz, who will be making his boxing debut after leaving the UFC in September 2022.

On the other hand, Diaz, who has a 22-13 record as a mixed martial artist, has not fought since winning against Tony Ferguson by submission in his last UFC bout. He has predicted that Paul's only chance to beat him will come in the early rounds and that he will take over the fight as it goes on. The fight is set to take place on Saturday, August 5 in Dallas.
