German manager Jurgen Klopp has announced that he will step down as the Liverpool coach at the end of the Premier League 2023-24 season. The Merseyside club posted a video on their social media handles where the 56-year-old coach revealed that he "will leave the club at the end of the season."
Klopp took over the managerial reigns at the Anfield in October 2015 after his exit from Borussia Dortmund. The German manager led the Reds to its first Premier League title win in 30 years during the 2019-20 season, and also the Champions League in 2018-19.
Liverpool too to X and wrote, " A message to Liverpool supporters from Jürgen Klopp. " In his message, Klopp said, "I will leave the club at the end of the season. I can understand that it's a shock for a lot of people in this moment when you hear it for the first time, but obviously, I can explain it or at least try to explain it. I love absolutely everything about this club. I love everything about the city. I love everything about our supporters. I love the team. I love the staff. I love everything. That I still take this decision, it shows you that I'm convinced it's the one I have to take."
He added, "I'm running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I think I know it already for longer that I have to announce that at one point. But I'm absolutely fine now."

He concluded by saying, "But I also know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again. And, after all the years we had together and after all the time we spent together, and after all, the things we went through together. The respect grew for you, the love grew for you, and the last thing I owe you is the truth. And that's the truth."
Apart from Jurgen Klopp, assistsnt managers Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz and development coach Vitor Matos will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
