The heated animosity between Logan Paul and Ricochet escalated after their recent Money in the Bag (MITB) event and saw the two wrestlers trading blows backstage. The two popular fighters have been locked into a rivalry ever since they shared a viral moment at the 2023 Royal Rumble, when the two collided mid-air.
The pair faced off in an MITB match, during which fans held their breaths after a risky move by Ricochet was botched and the two wrestlers had a scary landing. The original choreography involved Ricochet falling off a ladder and performing a Spanish Fly maneuver through two ring-side tables. The move failed, and the two ended up stuck on the ropes, when eventually ricochet managed to salvage the move and drop the both of them onto the tables.
Speaking on the move, Logan Paul said, “There was a botched move with a dangerous landing. I walked away this time relatively unscathed. I got some scrapes and bruises, but no major tweaks or pulls.” This wasn’t the end of the drama, however, and the two were filmed later trading blows backstage. The video shows the two popular fighters in a heated brawl before getting pulled apart by event staff.
While the WWE is famous for their choreographed and scripted theatrics, many fans were surprised at just how ‘real’ the situation seemed to be. Later, Logan would discuss the backstage fight on his podcast. The Youtube star-turned-boxer said about the situation, “I’m gonna be honest, he blew the f**king match for me. That’s why we got into it backstage. I got into a little tussle with him. I felt like he was a little unprofessional.”
Logan Paul and Ricochet are set to fight once again on Monday Night Raw next week, and the duo are rumored to be a major part of SummerSlam in early August.
