Jasprit Bumrah led the way for Mumbai Indians in their game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru as the pacer’s splendid five-wicket haul helped the home side defeat the Bengaluru-based franchise by seven wickets. Following the game, RCB bowler Mohammed Siraj displayed a heartwarming gesture towards Bumrah as he bowed down to acknowledge his senior Indian teammate.
T h e 30-year-old pace bowler dismantled the Bengaluru’s star-studded batting unit by picking up this season’s second five-fer which included the prized scalps of Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Mahipal Lomror. After his astounding spell, the home team shot down the compatible chase of 197 in just 15.3 overs as they slumped RCB to their fourth straight loss.
However, following the lopsided encounter, both sides displayed an enchanting show of good sportsmanship as India’s two premier pace-bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj embraced each other with a hug and the latter bowed down in front of the star of the day to pay him a heartwarming tribute.

After their statement win, Mumbai Indians climbed up to the seventh position with four points in five games while Royal Challengers Bengaluru tumbled to the second-last position with just a single victory in six games thus far in the tournament.
Following his heroics against RCB, Bumrah raced up to the top of the wicket-takers list with 10 wickets in five wickets, thus holding his supremacy over the purple cap. Mumbai Indians are next slated to play Chennai Super Kings in the first El-Classico of the season on Sunday, April 14.
