India players who are gearing up for the forthcoming multi-format series against West Indies in Barbados, shared a light-hearted moment with the local players on July 7, Friday. The Indian team showed kind gestures towards the players and spent a good time with the players who helped them in training ahead of the two-match Test series starting on July 12, Wednesday.

In a video posted by the BCCI, the star pacer Mohammed Siraj gifted his bats and shoes to the young players and said that he felt good about the fact that the players helped the visitors in training and hence, he decided to gift them bat and shoes. Not only this but the promising wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan was also spotted giving tips to a player as he posed for pictures with them. In addition to them, veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin sat with one of the local players and shared some insights with him.
The video also showed skipper Rohit Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad clicking selfies with the local players outside of the dressing room. The video was captioned, “Kind gestures 👌Autographs ✍️Selfies 🤳Dressing room meets 🤝 #TeamIndia make it special for the local players and fans in Barbados.”

Speaking about the forthcoming series, several youngsters, including Yashasvi Jaiswal have got the national call as India take on West Indies in the forthcoming century. The 21-year-old player was a part of the Rajasthan-based franchise in the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League and emerged as one of the most promising Indian youngsters. Jaiswal was one of the stand-by players in the Indian squad during the World Test Championship 2023 Final.
