Star wicketkeeper MS Dhoni is finally back on the cricket field after 10 months as Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians are playing the third match of IPL 2025 at M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. On his comeback, Dhoni again showed his lightning fast stumping behind the wicket as Noor Ahmed took the wicket of MI’s stand-in skipper Suryakumar Yadav.

On the third ball of the 11th over of the MI’s innings, Noor Ahmed bowled a googly against Suryakumar Yadav. In an attempt to play a shot, Suryakumar cleared his first leg and ended up missing the ball. After that, MS Dhoni took no time to grab the ball and clear the stumps before Suryakumar could reach his crease.The lightning fast reaction from Dhoni left the fans amazed as they were able to witness his masterclass after a long time.

Noor Ahmed scalps four wickets on CSK debut

Talking about the match, it has been a memorable outing for the Afghan spinner, who was playing his first-ever game for CSK. The left-arm spinner shone with the figures of 4/18 in his spell of four overs. Apart from that Khaleel Ahmed also took three wickets as CSK restricted MI on 151 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.

Coming to bat first after losing the toss, MI didn’t get a great start as they lost three wickets for 36 runs in 4.4 overs. After that, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma added 51 runs for the third wicket. Suryakumar scored 29(26) runs with two fours and a six, while Tilak contributed with 31(25) runs, hitting two fours and two sixes. Deepak Chahar also gave finishing touches with 28*(15) runs as MI crossed the 151-run mark. For CSK, Noor Ahmed took four, Khaleel Ahmed took two, while Nathan Ellis and Ravichandran Ashwin scalped a wicket each.
