Tentatively playing in his last IPL season, Dhoni is receiving support and gratitude in every stadium where he is touring. One such interaction happened during their encounter against Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana where a disabled Dhoni fan got the chance to have an autograph on a portrait of Dhoni, which he had made.
The fan, who couldn’t speak or hear stood near the stands to get his MS Dhoni art noticed by the 42-year-old who was returning after a long practice session. While returning to the dressing room, Dhoni stopped to pour his gratitude to the fan. He asked the ground staff to collect the portrait from the fan and gave his autograph on the artwork.
This heartfelt gesture by Dhoni garnered lots of praise for him as fans all around the globe hailed the gentle act of the former CSK skipper and his love and gratitude for his fans.

In the match against Lucknow Super Giants, MS Dhoni turned back the clock with a blistering knock of 28 runs in just nine balls while coming into the bat in the last two overs of the innings. He smashed two hits over the rope alongside hitting three tracer bullet-like boundaries to help his team reach a competitive score of 176/6 on a slow Ekana pitch.
However, KL Rahul and De Kock’s magnificent opening stand helped the home side to race past the target with an over to spare.
