This weekend, former UFC fighter Nate Diaz and boxer Jake Paul will square off at cruiserweight in a ten-round fight at the American Airlines Centre in Dallas. Paul has undergone a stunning shift in his team and training for the crucial bout versus Diaz after suffering a razor-thin split-decision loss to Tommy Fury in his most recent battle. Before the bout, a strange incident occurred when Diaz startled everyone by leaving suddenly during a one-on-one interview with Jake Paul.

Diaz has been under fire for not doing enough to publicize the bout, and the UFC legend made matters worse by leaving his face-to-face interview with Paul. The week during their premiere press conference, MMA journalist Helwani met down with Paul and Diaz for a face-off "behind the gloves" style interview. Combat sports aficionados were astonished when Paul posted a sizable taster of the clip.

In the video, Paul was seated across from Diaz as he started chatting about the fight, but Diaz appeared agitated and was moving about awkwardly. Diaz attempted to stand up while Paul talked and then sat back down before making the decision to stand up again and leave. Prior to Diaz shouting "Be right back" and leaving the stage during the media segment, the YouTube fighter briefly paused his interview. Paul was left on his own when Diaz left the confrontation and was later seen grinning outside the venue after getting into a car.

Jake Paul was surprised when Nate Diaz abruptly exited the stage during a face-off interview with Diaz, but Paul is still focused on his upcoming bout with Nate Diaz, which is anticipated to be one of his toughest tests yet, despite the unexpected encounter.  Nate hasn't yet provided an explanation for his hasty departure, but maybe it will be revealed when the whole footage is made available on Thursday.  On August 5, the two will clash in Dallas, Texas at the American Airlines Centre.
