Lucknow Super Giants substitute fielder Prerak Mankad pulled off an outstanding catch to dismiss an in-form Wriddhiman Saha against the Gujarat Titans. Saha, after a top-notch batting display against Rajasthan Royals, continued his stellar batting form against Lucknow as he gave the defending champions a perfect start at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Saha got off to a flier as he reached his fifty in just 20 balls. The West Bengal star continued his stellar form as he blasted LSG bowlers all over the park as reached the score of 81 in 42 balls. Here taking on Avesh Khan, Saha slogged the back of a length delivery wide of the deep square leg where Prerak Mankad sprinted towards left and completed a crucial catch to end a stunning batting performance.

But after Saha's wicket, his opening partner Shubman Gill continued the batting onslaught as he posted 94 in 51 balls with two fours and seven sixes. This stunning knock took the Gujarat Titans' total to 227 in their 20 overs.
Reacting to this incredible batting performance, Gill said, "It was pretty hot today. Thanks to Wriddhi (Saha) bhai for the start. The wicket was not easy to start with, it was a dry wicket and the oddball was stopping. It is all about practising and knowing your game, having awareness of your game and playing according to do that. It (the hundred) was on my mind in the last over, till the fourth ball where I could not get the boundary, but we have five more games and I will get my chance."
