On Monday, October 21, during the second Group B clash of the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 for India A, the pacer Rasikh Salam breathed fire as he took three wickets in one over against the United Arab Emirates (UAE). At the Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1), Rasikh Salam demolished the top order of the UAE in a single over, to play a key role in bundling them out for just 107 runs in 16.5 overs.
In the final over of the power play, Rasikh Salam started off with a key wicket of Nilansh Keswani for 5 off 9, getting him caught via Vaibhav Arora before finding himself on a hat-trick as he dismissed Vishnu Sukumaran on the next ball, who nicked off through to the wicket-keeper Prabhsimran Singh. Although Rasikh Salam wasn’t able to take a hat-trick, he castled Syed Haider on the fifth ball, to pick up his third wicket of the over.

Rasikh Salam registered figures of 3/15 in his two overs vs UAE
Rasikh Salam bowled only two overs in his spell, conceding 15 runs for his three wickets as the UAE were bundled out just when the death overs were being delivered. Ramandeep Singh also picked up a couple of wickets for India A in his two overs to clean up the opposition’s tail while conceding just seven runs.
