Rohit Sharma's tour to Bangladesh hasn't been the best as the Indian team suffered a humiliating defeat in the opening game. The second ODI has also got off to a poor start as Sharma injured his finger on the fourth ball of the second over.
In the process, the Indian captain also dropped the catch of the Bangladesh opener Anamul Haque, who was batting at the score of 11 from nine balls and hit two back-to-back boundaries. But this joy was short-lived for Haque as he was dismissed on the very next ball with Mohammed Siraj's magical delivery.

Later into the game, the BCCI confirmed that Sharma has suffered an injury to his thumb and hence was taken to a hospital for further scans. The statement said, "India Captain Rohit Sharma suffered a blow to his thumb while fielding in the 2nd ODI. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him. He has now gone for scans."
Earlier before the start of the game, Rohit Sharma was once again under criticism after the Indian team decided to drop Kuldeep Sen after the Rajasthan-born pacer made his debut in the opening game. Later BCCI posted a tweet stating that Sen was suffering from back stiffness after the game on Sunday.Update: India Captain Rohit Sharma suffered a blow to his thumb while fielding in the 2nd ODI.
