India are taking on New Zealand in the top of the table clash at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. While the Men in Blue are currently second in the standings having won all four matches so far in the tournament, the Blackcaps comfortably sit at the top with a comparatively better NRR.

As it would have it, the Rohit Sharma & men won the toss and invited the Kiwis to bat first. While Siraj who came to bowl the fourth over, gave the Men in Blue their first breakthrough in Devon Conway, Mohammed Shami then strikes, as he dismissed Will Young, with both the openers going back to the pavilion.
However, after the tenth over, it was Rohit Sharma who walked back to the pavilion after being hit on the fingers while fielding. While he was out of the field, KL Rahul took over the captaincy charge with Hardik Pandya also missing the game with an injury.
