The start of the fourth T20I between West Indies and India saw Arshdeep Singh winning the battle against Kyle Mayers, thanks to a sensational catch from Sanju Samson behind the stumps on August 12, Saturday. At the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, the visitors are currently fighting to stay in the five-match T20I series, trailing Men in Maroon by 2-1.
Notably, the West Indies captain Rovman Powell won the toss and chose to bat first in the fourth T20I. The opener Kyle Mayers got himself off to a flyer, smashing Axar Patel in the first over for a six, followed by a four.

In the second over, when the 31-year-old got the strike against Arshdeep Singh, he managed to smash a short delivery straight past the bowler for a statement-making four. On the next ball, the left-arm fast bowler came back to his mark with vengeance on his mind, delivering a fast bouncer, which Kyle Mayers could only help through to the keeper Sanju Samson, who grabbed hold of the ball, jumping high in the sky.
It led to Arshdeep Singh letting out a huge roar to celebrate the big wicket of the West Indies opener.
The bowling effort from Team India in the first innings of the match was quite good, thanks to the three wicket haul from Arshdeep Singh. Apart from scalping for Kyle Mayers, he took the key wickets of Brandon King and Shimron Hetmyer.

He was ably supported by Kuldeep Yadav, who got the rid of in-form Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell. But, still, West Indies managed to reach the competitive total of 178/8 in their allotted 20 overs, thanks majorly to Shimron Hetmyer, scoring 61 off 39 with three fours and four maximums.
