Although India lost their opener early during the 160-run chase against West Indies in the do-or-die third T20I match, star batter Suryakumar Yadav held his nerves to take India in a commanding position. While chasing the target, SKY also showed MS Dhoni's signature 'helicopter shot' with a touch of his own technique against Alzarri Joseph.

West Indies set a target of 160 runs as opener Brandon King scored 42 runs at a strike rate of 100 while skipper Rovman Powell scored a quick-fire knock of 40 runs in just 19 balls. After losing to early wickets of debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal at 1 and Shubman Gill at 6, Suryakumar Yadav built a partnership with Tilak Varma and put pressure on the hosts.

During the 13th over, which was bowled by Joseph, Surya played a helicopter shot on the second delivery. The ball went over the square leg fence for a six to take India at 121 runs. However, the 32-year-old Mumbai Indians star went out on the fourth ball of the over after he tried to hit another biggie, which went straight to the fielder Brandon King.
