After being stranded for three days in Barbados due to a category four hurricane, Rohit Sharma-led Team India and their families departed for Delhi on Wednesday with the BCCI officials, support staff, and members of the travelling media contingent. Team India met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence on Thursday morning and took a flight to Mumbai to kick start their ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 victory parade.

Team India left the Caribbean island on Air India's special charter flight - Air India Champions 24 World Cup (AIC24WC). The open-top bus for the victory parade exhibits a picture of the winning team's first moment with the trophy.
