The right-arm medium who was called into the attack took his runup and before releasing the ball, the on-strike batter in Towhid Hridoy moved away from the wicket. However, with pace on the side, Sarkar delivered and knocked the leg-stump. The two starred at each other and exchanged a few words in the middle.

The young batter however suffered an unexpected injury during Tuesday’s (January 10) game against Dhaka Dominators. The 22-year-old has received eight stitches and has been advised two weeks rest.
