Indian talismanic batter Virat Kohli, known for his fiery batting and aggressive approach both on and off field, was seen losing his cool at a spectator. Kohli, who recently landed in Colombo for the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, was seen snapping at a fan. The cricketer enjoyed almost a month-long break with family in London following India’s win in the T20 World Cup 2024. He wasn’t a part of the recently-concluded T20I series against the Islanders as the batter retired from the shortest format.
Recently, a video of Kohli from one of the practice sessions went viral like wildfire, where he was seen snapping at a fan. In a vide o , Kohli was seen shadow practicing with his bat when the fan started chanting “Chokli…Chokli”. Notably, the word was invented by netizens on social media as a way to criticise Kohli and troll him.
The batter didn’t seem to be happy with it and he immediately turned around and said, “Not here”. Notably Kohli will be back in action after more than a month following the completion of ODI World Cup 2024. The Men in Blue will take on Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series commencing on Friday, August 2. All three matches of the series will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in capital city, Colombo.
