Team India registered 6-run win over Australia in their first warm-up match on Monday. While it was KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav to score half-centuries and put 186/7 on board, Mohammad Shami starred with the ball, clinching four wickets on consecutive deliveries.

Virat Kohli although did not shine with the bat in the first innings, he grabbed the limelight alongside Shami in the penultimate over for his back-to-back dismissals. While he made a brilliant throw to dismiss Tim David, he took a brilliant one-handed catch near the boundary ropes to dismiss Pat Cummins.
