New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson traveled full court in just 3.5 seconds for a dunk at the end of the third quarter. In another thrilling clash against the Los Angeles Clippers, Williamson put on a dominating performance and led the side to a 112-104 victory over their counterparts. Williamson finished the night with 34 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals to showcase his powerful skill set and impact on the court.
During the end of the third quarter of the game, the 23-year-old covered the length of the court in just 3.5 seconds. Willaimson received an inbound pass and made his way past four LA Clippers defenders on his way to the basket. Both sides were tied at 80 then, but Williamson’s left-handed scoop shot was enough to give his side a two-point lead before stepping into the final quarter.

The young Pelicans star opened up on scoring in less than four seconds in the post-match interview. Williamson revealed that he and his stepdad worked on the drill all the time. In the interview, Williamson said, "Me and my stepdad work on that drill all the time when it's just less than 4 seconds and you have to get all the way down the court. So every dribble, every step matters and you got to pick your sparks wisely.”
He added, “When I got to it, the first thing I thought was 'Yeah I work on that’." Coming back to the match, Williamson’s performance was backed up by Trey Murphy III’s 14 points, along with Brandon Ingram’s 13-point performance.
