The Australia women's team continued their dominance over the Windies women's team in their three-match ODI series as the Aussies thrashed the visitors by eight wickets with 211 balls remaining in the third and final ODI match on Saturday. With this win Australia clinch the ODI series against West Indies 2-0, completing a white-ball series sweep with a 2-1 win in the T20I series earlier.

New Zealand defeated Bangladesh by 8 wickets convincingly with the help of a brilliant 108-run partnership between Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell for the third wicket, who helped their side chase down 246 runs with 43 balls to spare. Batting first, Bangladesh were restricted to a total of 245/9 in 50 overs with the help of Lockie Ferguson picking three wickets, while Trent Boult and Matt Henry picked two wickets each.

IOC approves inclusion of cricket and four other sports in 2028 LA Olympics
The International Olympic Committee has approved the inclusion of cricket in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The decision to include the sport in the T20I format was taken at the committee's executive board meeting in Mumbai on October 13, Friday. Cricket's previous appearance at the multi-sport tournament was in 1990 in Paris. Apart from cricket, baseball, softball, flag football, and squash are also included in the 2008 Olympic Games.
