The Punjab Kings defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets in a historic win on April 26, Friday. Batting first, KKR posted 261 runs with the loss of six wickets as Phil Salt (75-off-37) and Sunil Narine (71-off-32) combined for 138 runs in 10.2 overs. During the chase, PBKS got off to a great start with opener Prabhsimran Singh (54-off-20) and Jonny Bairstow (108* runs off 48 balls) combined for 93 runs in the powerplay. Shashank Singh came up with 68* off 28 balls to chase the score with 8 balls to spare.
