In the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League, the inaugural champions, Rajasthan Royals managed the top spot for more than half of the tournament, however,  they have suffered their fourth consecutive loss and could drop down to the third spot if the SunRisers Hyderabad managed to beat the Gujarat Titans on Thursday.
