The Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has apologised to his wife Annie Kilner, who he cheated with the TV personality Lauryn Goodman, fathering two children with her. The 33-year-old is reportedly living alone in a rented property, and remarked that he “made idiot choices and idiot decisions” in having an extramarital affair behind the back of his teenage love.
Annie Kilner has signed with Mode Model Management since 2013, boasting more than 50,000 followers on her official Instagram account, including the likes of Kevin de Bruyne, Kat Kane, Billi Mucklow, and Jacqueline Jossa, among others. In her professional career, she has also made guest appearances on the show called The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
At the age of 17, Annie Kilner met her future husband Kyle Walker, with whom she shares three children, and now, she is expecting a fourth. But, after learning about the extent of the extramarital affair of Kyle Walker with Lauryn Goodman, she reportedly kicked him out of their family home in Cheshire recently, while ditching her wedding ring too.
In the recent interview with The Sun newspaper, Kyle Walker made an unconditional apology to his wife Annie Kilner for cheating with her, before imagining the pain his wife must be going through. He said, “What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions. I can’t begin to think or imagine what Annie is going through. I’ve tried to ask her but there’s pain and hurt.”
The English footballing star also shared his thoughts about causing pain to his wife, family, and everyone involved in the ordeal. He remarked, “My actions have caused a lot of pain to a lot of people. I’m sorry because, as a family, this isn’t meant to happen.”
“I am a private man but I accept that I am a public figure and I need to address what I’ve done. It hasn’t helped that it has been played out in the media. But I’ve chosen to speak now in the hope that I can at least explain myself and enable my wife and children to have the privacy they so desperately need and deserve,” Kyle Walker added.
