Indian cricket team began 2024 on a triumphing note by registering a historic win over South Africa in the second Test of the multi-format series. After the win, the team gathered for a group picture, and among the men was spotted a young lady, Rajal Arora, who holds an important place in the Indian team. Rajal or Raj Laxmi Arora is the head of the Indian cricket team’s social media team.
Raj Laxmi began her career as a content writer after graduating from Pune’s Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communications. She then went on to join the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as a social media manager, and almost nine years later, she holds the position of a senior producer. Along with handling the team’s social media, Arora is also the head of the internal complaint committee at BCCI, where she oversees the complaints of players’ misbehavior.
Raj Laxmi, or Rajal as she is known in the team, was a sports enthusiast since her school days and has played basketball and shooting games. Rajal is active on social media and goes by the username ‘Rajal Arora’, on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) with a following of around 60k and 29k, respectively.
Arora shares a special bond with Indian wicketkeeper KL Rahul’s wife and Bollywood wife Athiya Shetty. Both of them are often spotted together in several social media posts. Apart from this, Arora’s Instagram suggests that she shares a good bond with Indian players such as KL Rahul, Dinesh Karthik, and Ishant Sharma.
