New Zealand will take on Sri Lanka in their final match at the ODI World Cup 2023, which is notably their last league game in the flagship tournament at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. While Sri Lanka will play for a place in Champions Trophy 2025, New Zealand will hope to seal the semifinal spot to be in race to lift the 50-over title.

While the Kiwis had a brilliant start to the season, having won four games on the trot, their winning streak was broken by the Men in Blue in Dharamsala and since then, they have lost next four games in the tournament. However, with the final game, they Kane Williamson-led side will also aim to seal the semifinals berth to keep them in the hunt of the title.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka were knocked out of the tournament after a three-wicket defeat against Bangladesh in their last match, but they will go all out to find a place in Champions Trophy 2025.
