Kane Williamson will lead the franchise in IPL 2022
After a disappointing campaign in 2021, there is no doubt that the new coaching staff headed by Tom Moody, will certainly bring some new ideas to the franchise. Apart from a new-look support staff, SRH will also have a new set of players representing them in next season.
The Orange Army released some big names like David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar etc. who have been an integral part of the franchise in last few years. They have showed their faith on Kane Williamson who will captain the side going into the new era.
SRH have also retained the young Indian uncapped duo of Umran Malik and Abdul Samad, who could play a vital role for the team in next season. With a new staff on board, the franchise would now be hoping to form a solid squad in mega auctions, which are slated to take place on Feb 12-13 in Bengaluru.
