Australian opening batter Travis Head has been the talk of the cricketing world after his incredible match-winning performance in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Final against India. Chasing a tricky 241-run target, Head started cautiously as Australia lost three quick wickets and then shifted gears.

Sunrisers Hyderabad:
Despite building a star-studded squad, the Sunrisers Hyderabad had a dismissal season as they managed to win just four games in the 2023 season. The 2016 champions spent a lot of money on England youngster Harry Brook, who barring a sensational century, failed to fire throughout the tournament. Hence, Hyderabad could release Brook and go hor Travis Head as a top-order batter alongside the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Anmolpreet Singh and Aiden Markram.

Like the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings also had a disappointing season with an eighth-place finish. Kings also bought some incredible players in the 2023 auction but couldn’t the right combination to find consistency. Like the previous two teams, Punjab also had a lot of rotation in the top order. To overcome this issue, Kings could release the likes of Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Mathew Shorts to pick up Travis Head.
