Indian wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson put on an incredible performance in the second T20I against Ireland in Dublin. The Kerala native scored a quick-fire 40 in 26 balls with five fours and one six. But as the Rajasthan Royals’ captain neared his half-century, Samson was castled by Benjamin White’s delivery.
After smashing premier Irish pacer Joshua Little for 18 runs in the 11th over, Samson couldn’t get behind White and got a massive inside edge on the stumps as he attempted to pull a short-ish delivery. Despite missing a milestone, fans on social media poured in praise and adoration for Samon.
