While Formula One is all set to grace Miami International Autodrome in the United States of America on Sunday in the presence of a who's who of Hollywood, former first lady Michelle Obama cheered for Lewis Hamilton from the Mercedes garage on Saturday. The former first lady was seen embracing seven-time world champion and good friend before the third practice session at the Miami Autodrome.
Pictures of both sharing laughter and chatting immediately went viral on social media as several fans re-shared the image. Obama, 58, was seen donning a headset, a crisp white shirt with a beaded collar, and wide-framed sunglasses as she witnessed the thrilling qualification round from the Mercedes garage. Notably, the inaugural GP at Miami includes an elite list of guests like LeBron James, Williams' sister, Michael Jordan and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

Speaking of Hamilton, the Mercedes driver was the sixth fastest in the session, while his teammate George Russell failing to make it out of Q2 and will start 12th tomorrow. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will be present at the front row of the grid, with reigning world champion Max Verstappen in the top three.
Hamilton, who is craving for pole position this season, termed the driving parts of the new circuit to a 'B&Q car park' on Friday. Hamilton told reporters, "We don't know why we were looking faster than we were. We're not going to take a step forward; we've just got to put the work in." The seven-time world champion also termed the qualifying round as 'nerve-wracking.'
Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc said that the fans are crazy as it's awesome to be here. "It will be a tight race on Sunday, but hopefully we will finish on top". The Grammy winner even paid homage to McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo by drinking a beer from someone's shoe: affectionately dubbed a "shoey." Paris Hilton was spotted in the Paddock Club and "Bachelorette" alum Dale Moss, who appeared to be joined by two women.
