Team India’s squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series has been announced and there have been surprising inclusions in the 15-member rosters. Few players have got a call-up based on the tremendous IPL 2023 season but unfortunately, Rinku Singh, the star of the recent IPL, didn’t get to play the upcoming five-match T20I series.
Here, in this article, we will have a look at three Indian players to watch out for the upcoming T20I series against West Indies
1. Yashasvi Jaiswal
With Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan being the regular Indian openers for India in T20Is, it will be interesting to see if Yashasvi Jaiswal gets a chance to open in a few games as he had a tremendous IPL season in 2023. Jaiswal hasn’t made his international debut for India so far and he scored 625 runs from 14 innings in IPL 2023 at an impressive strike rate of 163.61.

3. Arshdeep Singh
Arshdeep Singh has been the bowler to watch out for the Indian team in the absence of key pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Arshdeep Singh has been playing in the XI as part of Team India consistently since the last year (2022) five-match T20I series against West Indies, and later he featured as a key bowler for the side in both Asia Cup 2022 and T20 WC 2022. Arshdeep Singh in a very short span of his T20I career has taken 41 wickets from 26 games and also in the recently concluded IPL 2023 season he picked 17 wickets.
