Anrich Nortje - 4/7 vs SL
Anrich Nortje arrived at the T20 World Cup 2024 after recovering from a back injury, hitting his straps in the first match of the tournament for South Africa against Sri Lanka at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. The right-arm fast bowler blew away the Sri Lankan top order of Kusal Mendis and Kamindu Mendis, following which he also got the wickets of the experienced Charith Asalanka and Angelo Mathews, to help set up a comfortable six-wicket win for the South Africans after bundling the opposition out for 77 runs in the last over.
