The battle royale fans with an iOS in their hand don't have to wait anymore to lay a hand on the Battlegrounds Mobile India. The video game has been finally made available on the App Store for download. After months of waiting, the iOS users will now be able to finally download and play the game.
Developer Krafton was teasing the iOS launch of BGMI for quite some time now and finally on August 18, Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS app was made available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. The online gaming platform is now listed on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The app size will be 1.9 GB and requires iOS 11.0/iPad OS 11.0 or later. BGMI iOS app has been rated age 17+ and Krafton has finally included “Frequent/Intense Realistic Violence” in its listing.
The users with their PUBG accounts linked with Apple ID will be able to log in with the same credentials. After logging in, users will be presented with welcome rewards that include Recon Mask, Recon Outfit, the Celebration Expert Title and 300 AG (in-game currency). All these can be redeemed together from the Event Center. Exclusive gifts like the Supply and classic Crate Coupons along with Constable Set can be redeemed separately from the Event Center. The Galaxy Messenger Set, which was given out when BGMI had hit 50M downloads, will be available in the third set of rewards for the iOS users.
BGMI is available for Android users since mid-June
After the Indian government had banned PUBG, developer Krafton introduced the Indian version of the battle royale game and named it Battlegrounds Mobile India. The game was first made available for pre-registration for Android users in mid-May and has been available to play since mid-June. Its beta version was released on June 17 and soon went into early access to allow more users to download and play. BGMI was officially launched for Android on July 2. The Android version has also received multiple updates post its launch.
