Irish MMA fighter Connor McGregor has teased his much-anticipated return in the boxing ring. The 36-year-old took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce that he has accepted Logan Paul’s challenge for a boxing exhibition match in India. McGregor also mentioned that the event will be hosted by the Ambani family. Notably, McGregor was last seen fighting in the ring against Dustin Poirier in 2021.
Connor McGregor broken his leg during his fight with Dustin Poirier three years ago and the doctor was forced to stop the fight. Since then, he hasn’t returned to the ring. However, McGregor was scheduled to return with a fight against Michael Chandler in July 2024. But the Irish had to pull off from the fight again due to a broken toe. Now, McGregor has hinted his return with a fight against Logan Paul in India.

Earlier, there were also the rumours of Connor McGregor to return with a fight with Ilia Topuria. However, the Irish MMA fighter confirmed that all these reports are false and teased a fight with Logan Paul to make his return in the ring. McGregor also revealed that he is currently in preliminary agreements with Ambani family to fight Logan in India.
“The rumors of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon,” Connor McGregor wrote on his X.
Logan Paul is a YouTuber turned boxer who kickstarted his boxing career with a match against a fellow YouTuber KSI on August 25, 2018. One of his notably fight came against America’s legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather on June 6, 2021. Logan was able to land 28 punches on Mayweather out of 217 attempts.
