England spin-bowling all-rounder Rehan Ahmed has withdrawn his name from the Indian Premier League 2024 auction. The mega event will take place on December 19 in Dubai's Coca-Cola arena and see a total of 333 players go under the hammer, out of which 214 are Indians and 119 are overseas.

The development was confirmed via multiple media reports which also confirmed that all England players be available for the entire IPL 2024 season subject to international commitments. Outside England, players from other nations like Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, Ireland and Sri Lanka will be available for the complete 2024 season.

Sportstar shared an email from BCCI talking about the availability of English players for the 2024 season of the tournament.  “ECB is prepared to make their players available for the duration of the Tournament, subject to fitness and international duty, and any periods of unavailability that players submitted on their auction applications,” the emails stated.

“ECB are still in the process of finalising their schedule for the World T20 in June and if any individual players require specific management in the build-up to the World T20, Rob Key will liaise directly with the player and his franchise to make the necessary arrangements.”
