American television star and professional wrestler Sara Lee’s death has been confirmed as suicide in an autopsy report. The WWE star died on October 5, last year in San Antonio. The winner of the 2015 WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) competition “Tough Enough” season 6, consumed a combination of alc o hol and drugs a few hours before her death.
Sara’s mother had confirmed the demise of the WWE star in a Facebook post. Sharing the news of her 30-year-old daughter’s death, she wrote, “It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus. We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete. We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers, especially Cory and her children.”
It was months after Sara’s death that a person close to her revealed that she was heavily drinking on the night she died and that her death was accidental. Now, the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed that she consumed amphetamines, doxylamine and alcohol that led to her death. As per the autopsy report, the 30-year-old had bruises and abrasions on her body and head at the time of her death. It led the medical examiners to believe that her death was caused by a fall. However, the postmortem reports confirm that her death was suicide.
Sara Ann Lee belonged to Hope, Michigan, USA, and won a contract worth US$ 250,000 with the wrestling company after winning “Tough Enough” season 6. She was also a TV presenter, wife and a mother to three children.
