On Sunday, March 23, Pat Cummins-led SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) are taking on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their IPL 2025 opener at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. While the Orange Army finished the last edition as runners-up, RR weren’t at their best despite entering the playoffs.
As Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head opened the innings for SRH, they thrashed the RR bowlers from the very start of the match. However, Theekshana drew the first blood as he dismissed Abhishek Sharma (24 off 11), who hit at the strike rate of 218.18 with this innings including five boundaries.

However, Abhishek Sharma departed having scored 24 runs, Australian opener, Travis Head continued his big-hitting, scoring at a strike rate of 245.00. Seeing this, fans flooded social media with memes. While several claimed Head as a “monster” for his hard-hitting, a few others said that the batting lineup of SRH is “insane”.
