Natasa Stankovic, the actress and model, who divorced Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya last year, is looking to move forward in life, talking about how she is open to falling in love again in an exclusive interview. The 33-year-old also spoke about the challenging times in her life last year, which made her grow into a wiser human being, which is why she is grateful for the things that happened.
Notably, Natasa Stankovic had married Hardik Pandya in a private ceremony on May 31, 2020, renewing their vows in 2023, but their relationship eventually lasted just over four years before they mutually separated last July. The couple have a son named Agastya, who was born in the summer of 2020, and after their divorce, the four-year-old is being co-parented by both of them.
I am not adverse to falling in love. I want to embrace whatever life brings my way: Natasa Stankovic
While speaking exclusively to the Times of India, Natasa Stankovic admitted that she is “not averse to it (falling in love). I want to embrace whatever life brings my way.” She spoke about her birthday celebration earlier this month, “This year was beautiful and special. I had a lovely time with Agastya during the day and at night had a small get-together with my lovely people. So my day has been filled up with so much love and joy.”
The Serbian native also addressed the difficult times last year, going through a divorce with Hardik Pandya, but it made her stronger. She remarked, “Last year was quite challenging and I am grateful for it. As we grow wiser while going through challenges, and I just love it. Had many experiences (good and bad) so I believe that we mature with experiences and not with age.”
With that, Natasa Stankovic is now looking forward to life, not only personally, but also professionally as well, saying that, “As I look to the year ahead I am definitely open to new experiences, opportunities and maybe love. I believe that the right connection happens naturally when the time is right. I value meaningful relationships, the ones that are built on trust and understanding.”
