With many speculations going around the 2025 Champions Trophy in Pakistan, the International Cricket Council (ICC) will reportedly take a final call on the upcoming tournament in a board meeting on November 29. The whole tournament is currently scheduled to be held in Pakistan in February - March next year. However, BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) have made it clear that they will not send their team to Pakistan and proposed a hybrid model, while the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also remain intact in organizing the entire tournament in Pakistan.

As per the tentative schedule released by PCB, the 2025 Champions Trophy will be played from February 19 to March 9. All the matches are scheduled to be played among three cities of Pakistan including the likes of Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi. Pakistan who emerged champions in 2017, were given hosting rights in 2021. PCB have also asked for clarifications from ICC with BCCI deciding not to send their team to the neighboring country. However, they haven’t received any response from the ICC till date. 

India to play all matches in Dubai, including semifinal and final: Reports

With almost three months remaining for the tournament, the ICC is set to take the final call on the Champions Trophy, 2025. According to the sources close to SportsTiger, India will play their matches in Dubai while the rest of the tournament will be held in Pakistan. Apart from that, the final will also be played at Dubai. However, there are currently no comment from the cricket boards of both India and Pakistan and the final decision will be taken in the meeting on November 29. 

Now, the ICC board of 12 Full Member countries, three representatives from Associates, an independent director along with the ICC chairman and CEO will take a final call in a meeting on November 29. The meeting is set to take place just a couple of days before the beginning of new tenure for Jay Shah as an ICC Chairman on December 1.
