Dhoni, who earlier passed the captaincy baton to Ruturaj Gaikwad and demoted himself down the batting order, made it a special night for CSK fans with his four-ball cameo. The 42-year-old smashed three powerful sixes consecutively and added 20 invaluable runs to the overall CSK total.
While it was a special night for the CSK ultras, ‘Thala’ made sure to make it more special for a young fan by passing her the match ball. After his batting, when the former CSK captain was climbing up the stairs to the dressing room, he spotted a young girl present in the stands. The five-time IPL-winning captain picked up the match ball from the stairs and passed it to the girl.
The moment went viral in no time, and fans praised Thala for his gesture.

The young girl, who went viral from the match, recently appeared in an interview and revealed that she plays cricket. In an interview with StarSports, the little girl, named Meher, revealed, “I am the lucky girl who received the ball from Dhoni uncle.” She added, “I play cricket, and this is my dream to pass this ball to another fan when I will play India.”
Her father said, “We still can’t believe that we have this ball. Mahi stopped, looked towards us, and passed it to Meher who was on my shoulder at that time.”
