Rohit Sharma-led India registered a thumping win over Tom Latham’s New Zealand in the second ODI on Saturday. The Men in Blue beat their Kiwi counterparts by eight wickets to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series. The bowlers, led by Mohammed Shami (3/18) starred for India. This is the second consecutive series win for India this year.
Now, with the series sealed, the Men in Blue will be focused on testing their bench strength before the three-match T20I series gets underway. The final ODI is scheduled to take place in Indore on 24 January and will provide India with a chance for a clean sweep against New Zealand.
