KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants, on Saturday, have named Arpit Guleria of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh as a replacement for injured bowler Mayank Yadav for the remainder of the IPl 2023.

Although the nature of Mayank Yadav's injury is not clear yet, the Lucknow-based IPL franchise have named the 25-year-old pacer, Ankit Guleria as his replacement.  Arpit debuted in domestic cricket for Himachal Pradesh in the  2018–19 Ranji Trophy on 28 November 2018  and currently plays for Services. 

The young HP pacer, who has played 15 First-Class matches and 11 List-A games and has scalped 44 and 11 wickets respectively from the same, has been bought for INR 20 Lakh by the LSG.

In the IPL 2023 points table, LSG are placed at the second spot with three wins in four matches and have won their last match against RCB on the last ball, chasing 213 runs. The Super Giants will next face Punjab Kings at the Ekana Sports City in Lucknow on Saturday night.
