However, the idea didn’t sit well with the fans and they slammed the streamer stating that the tool would cause a ‘loneliness epidemic’. However, despite the backlash, Amouranth gained tremendous success as her AI bot earned over $34,000 in revenue within 24 hours. The streamer tweeted sharing the bot’s success and wrote, "AI COUNTERPART CLEARED $34,000+ in revenue in its first 24 hours! Each person chatting (on avg) spent $20+ a large portion of chatters don’t follow the account (40% thereabout).”

It's therapeutic: Amouranth responds to ‘loneliness epidemic’ claims

The 30-year-old took to X (formerly Twitter) to hit back at fans complaining about the ‘loneliness epidemic’ the tool will cause. She said that the tool won’t cause loneliness to the subscribers and is therapeutic. Amouranth tweeted, “A lot of people are saying this type of thing is the cause loneliness epidemic — I disagree.  This doesn’t cause loneliness — it’s probably closer to being therapeutic.  It’s what people reach for to refrain from feeling alone. An AI that passes the Turing test is part of the solution, not the problem.”

The tool comes with four types of subscription plans depending on the types of interaction that the users want. The cheapest subscription of the tool comes at $5.99 a month and is for friendly interactions. The most expensive plan, on the other hand, costs $199.99 and offers a girlfriend experience.
