The franchise spent a huge purse during the IPL 2025 mega auction, with Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant being the most expensive player in history as Lucknow Super Giants roped him in for a whopping INR 27 Crore. On the other hand, the IPL 2024 winning captain was sold to Punjab Kings for a whopping INR 26.75 Crore. For opening the innings, we have picked a destructive pair of Jos Buttler and Ishan Kishan. England’s Jos Buttler was sold to Gujarat Titans for INR 15.75 Crore in the mega auction. He is known for giving flying starts and playing big knocks during his stint with Rajasthan Royals from 2018 to 2024. On the other hand, young Indian batter Ishan Kishan is also known for his monstrous hits and giving greats as an opening batter. Kishan was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 11.25 Crore in the mega auction after getting released by Mumbai Indians.
