Days after Ravindra Jadeja’s father Anirudh Sinh Jadeja went viral where he revealed that he does not have any relation with his son and daughter-in-law, the Indian cricketer’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja has now opened up on it. While the Indian all-rounder’s comments came the very same day, Rivaba, in an event was asked about it.
When asked about the accusations made by her father-in-law, Rivaba, who is a politician by profession refused to dwell on the topic as she reminded of the event they have been gathered for. “Why are we here today. You can contact me directly if you want to know about it,” Rivaba Jadeja said, giving a stern response to the question in a viral video shared by Zee24Kalak.
Earlier Ravindra Jadeja took to social media after his father’s interview claiming “no relation with Ravi and his wife” went viral. The Indian all-rounder in a post written in Gujarati said, “The things mentioned in the dubious interview with Divya Bhaskar are meaningless and false. Those are one-sided comments that I deny. The attempt to tarnish the image of my wife is improper and condemnable. I too, have a lot to say but it is better that I don’t reveal those things in public.”
However, Jadeja was prompt at replying after the interview went viral where his father had said, “Do you want me to tell one truth? I have absolutely no relation with Ravindra and his wife, Rivaba. We don’t call them, and they don’t call us. The issues started after two or three months of their marriage.”
In the interview, Anirudh Sinh Jadeja also claimed that he regrets that his son is a cricketer and lives alone in Jamnagar. “I currently live alone in Jamnagar, while Ravindra resides in a separate bungalow of his own. He lives in the same city, but I don’t get to see him. I don’t know what magic his wife has done on him.” “He is my son, and it burns my heart. I wish I hadn’t got him married. It would have been better if he hadn’t become a cricketer. We would have not have to go through all this in that case,” Jadeja’s father further added.
Speaking of the Indian cricketer, Jadeja is currently at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), rehabilitating from the hamstring injury he sustained during the first Test against England in Hyderabad. The 35-year-old is however named in the squad for the remaining Tests against England, but his participation is subject to fitness clearance by the BCCI medical team.
