After a long time we witnessed a high scoring game in IPL 2021 in match number 47 between RR vs CSK. RR invited CSK to bat first and CSK posted a very competitive total of 189 runs in first innings with the help of Ruturaj Gaikwad's classy century. Ravindra Jadeja's crucial cameo also ensured that CSK put a good total of 190 runs on board. However, among RR bowlers only Tewatia managed to pick 3 wickets for his side.

RR in the second innings were cruising towards the target easily as they scored 81/1 inside powerplay itself.  Yashasvi Jaiswal smacked a fifty in no time as he reached that feat in just 19 balls while other batters like Evin Lewis and Shivam Dube also ensured that RR had no difficulty in chasing a big total of 190. Among CSK bowlers, only Shardul Thakur looked impressive as rest of them like Sam Curran and Josh Hazlewood conceded too many runs.
