Indian wicketkeeper batter Sanju Samson is currently in great form in his international career. The right-hander recently achieved a new milestone of becoming the first Indian player to hit back-to-back centuries in the T20I format. Samson first smashed 111(47) against Bangladesh in Hyderabad on October 12, as India posted a record-total of 297/6. After that, he went on to score 107(50) runs in the very next game against South Africa in Durban on November 8.

Sanju Samson has been in and out of the Indian team from the last few years. After making his international debut in 2015, the wicketkeeper batter played 35 T20Is and 16 ODIs for the Indian cricket team so far. Now, it looks like Samson has cemented his place in the Indian T20I setup after his great performance in recent times. However, according to the latest reports, Sanju’s father Samson Vishwanath lashed out on Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma in his latest interview for wasting 10 years of the cricketer’s career.

Sanju Samson’s father thanks Gautam Gambhir and Suryakumar Yadav

Recently a video went viral on social media where Sanju Samson’s father Samson Vishwanath can be seen giving an interview in Telugu. In his interview, Vishwanath lashed out at former Indian skippers, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli along with the former T20I skipper Rohit Sharma and former head coach Rahul Dravid for not giving chances to Samson during their captaincy tenure. The wicketkeeper has played under all these three captains in his career so far. Speaking further, Vishwanath also thanked the current T20I captain of India Suryakumar Yadav and head coach Gautam Gambhir for showing on his in the T20Is.

"There are 3-4 people who wasted 10 years of my son's vital career...captains like Dhoni ji, Virat [Kohli] ji, Rohit [Sharma] ji and coach [Rahul] Dravid ji. These four people destroyed 10 years of my son's life but the more they hurt him, the stronger Sanju came out of the crisis,” Samson Vishwanath was quoted as saying in a viral video.

"I am very happy, and I want to thank Gautam Gambhir bhai and Suryakumar bhai. If these two people did not come at this time during Sanju's career, they would have dropped him from the team like in the past. So, I credit my son's century to both of them,” he further added.
