The Indian wicketkeeper-batter was asked a question in which he was given the choice to pick batters to open or build a partnership with. The left-handed batter replied with the names of Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rohit Sharma. In modern-day batters, Kishan chose his SRH teammate Abhishek Sharma and Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Shubman Gill.
He also said he loves to play at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in reply to the interviewer’s question regarding the favourite ground. Before winding-up the conversation, Kishan was asked to reveal about his favourite IPL memory. The top-order batter said he enjoyed winning IPL 2020 with Mumbai Indians (MI) as he performed well for the side to help bag the coveted trophy for the fifth time. In Mumbai’s record title win, Kishan chipped in with 516 runs in 14 matches and emerged as the leading run-getter for the team.
"I love the vibe there. I played for Mumbai Indians (MI) for very long. The fans, everything, the support I get in Mumbai while playing at Wankhede, it's just insane. I cannot get it into words, the feeling I get when I play at Wankhede. Any point of time when I am feeling down. When I am in the middle I am expected to get some boundaries for the team, the crowd just goes insane and cheering your name, it's altogether a very different feeling," said Kishan.
