Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is all set to return to the Premier League the next season as his tenure with the German-based club is set to conclude by the end of the ongoing season. The 50-year-old German manager is likely to take charge at Manchester United as the Red Devils possess bad form under Erik ten Hag.

Tuchel on being asked about his possible chances to coach the Premier League side, responded swiftly, “I’d rather not answer but it is no secret that I loved it at Chelsea. I loved it in England and I loved it in the Premier League for sure, it was a very, very special time and I remember it very well.

Thomas Tuchel to Manchester United?

Despite the fans of the Bundesliga club fans trying hard to retain their manager through the next season as well, Tuchel clarified it is highly unlikely to stay at Munich. “It’s very, very, very unlikely that it at Bayern, I have to say, because we have an agreement, there is at the moment no reason to doubt this agreement. We took this position, the initiative came from the club, and so it is and I’m fine with it.

Adding to it, he stated, “I don’t need it for the extra percentage of competitiveness because I’m always up for a win, I’m always thinking how to improve the squad or how to improve myself in coaching.  We go all in. Does it influence where I am next season? Maybe not, maybe I’m on holiday no matter what, let’s see, let’s see.”

Bayern Munich had endured a good UCL 2023-24 season with Harry Kane-led side having made it to the semifinals of Europe’s prestigious league. Munich is trying hard to replace Tuchel as all the leading managers snubbing the chance to lead the German club. On the other hand, in the English league, Man United is having a rough season under Ten Hag and the former German footballer could be an exciting option to replace him from the next season.
